You happen to cross one or more toll plazas either every day or on a regular basis as per your needs. Usually, these toll plazas are built and maintained by the government as it charges some fees for every user. The charges are paid by the vehicle owners or the drivers who drive the vehicles while crossing these plazas. It is good to mention that they need to pay the fee every time they happen to cross the same place. The charges are not the same and equal for every user as it varies depending upon the type of vehicle.

The government has come up with new toll plaza rules and has implemented them already. The new toll plaza rules are very stringent as they do not exempt government officers and Padma Shree awardees. They were exempted from the list in the previous toll plaza rules. The credit for the new and current toll plaza rules should go to the Union Transport Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari!
